PORTFOLIO

ABOUT ME
As a freshman in college, I had an open letter titled "Please Mr. President" published in The New York Times. Now, I am a graduate student at Columbia Journalism School taking classes in business reporting, magazine writing, data and investigative techniques. Last fall, three of my articles were published by Queens Chronicle, a newspaper in Queens, New York.
When I graduate from Columbia in May, I want to write for a publication or company that values strong storytelling presented in a professional manner. I'm either interested in working in a creative corporate communications role or combining human-interest angles and data to tell business stories that demystify topics like personal finance for a general audience. Regardless of subject matter, the focus of my writing is people.
